Hi.
Two questions:
1) I have a 99 Limited awd with 115,000 miles. The trans has had fluid and filter changes every 36,000 miles. Under normal driving conditions the trans shifts fine but at wot the 1-2 shift is delayed for a second or two. Its like the flare that has been posted on the board for the 5r55 trans. I am planning on doing a fluid and filter change this week ad I was wondering if replacing the 1-2 shift accumulator would help the problem? If not, any suggestions would be appreciated.
2) When the engine is cold and I shift into drive it sounds like a huge vacuum leak somewhere. I have the same problem on my Cougar 5.0 AOD. Any Idea what this is?
