Help. I just lost my fan belt on my 95 4.0L A/C P/S. I need to know how to route said belt. Also I have no idea about adjusting afore metioned belt. I need to know about tensioning. Yes, I have no pizza words here.

Blue van down!!!

Ok I figured out how to adjust tension on my fan belt. My problem is I can't seem to get my belt tensioner to rotate (loosen) far enough to get my belt onto my last pulley. My next problem being no belt schematic so I'm not sure if I even have said belt routed correctly. It also came to me that maybe my belt tensioner is sprung, that is maybe it rotated so far that I can't get it to swing back far enough to get to my last pulley. Help I'm stuck on a stupid fan belt.

Yes I still have spring action. I just can't get it to go far enough. That's why I think I don't have my belt threaded right. No there is not a drawing. Not vacuum, not fan belt. I did a seach on the whole board, and no drawing any where. And thanks, I can die now, I have finally use the word "snizzle" in a sentence. Swell.

Are you using a breaker bar on the tensioner?

Full sized 1/2 Craftsman ratchet with a 16 mm socket. I'm pushing so hard that I'm tightening my bolt. Plus my tensioner is swinging like 180* So to me it seems to be working alright. I called Napa to make sure he gave me a A/C lenght belt. It's a belt, a damned fan belt! I'm grounded by a facotchin peice of rubber. Rats.

Brooklyn, you are the best!! I have the belt on wrong. I have it going on around, outside of the left tensioner pulley. Thanks so much.
