So I just had this thought....I think it really would spruce up the look of my Ex. So I have the 16" XLT base wheels; I was thinking of painting the cut outs and indents black. I would like a set of aftermarket wheels, but I like the durability of the stock wheels. I don't want to paint the whole wheel.
Anyone have any input on this painting idea...here's a pic of my style of wheel incase anyone needs a pic reference.

Not leaking coolant anymore. I don't know what it was but obviously some coolant just wanted to disappear. :dunno: It is a love hate relationship with cars...

Those looks similar to what I want. I'm curious at how these would look. I think I will try out my photoshop skills...

Post a pic if it comes out alright, It'd be cool to see what X rims would look like in that colour scheme.

Love the hate, love trucks Mike, wicked cool.

Thanks!! You have just made my day! Exactly what I want; The first one is what I'll be doing. The red one looks good but i'm not sure how that will go with my tan Ex. With a red or black Ex the red one would look awesome!

get a couple of heaters for ur shed or garage mate, that'll give u a nice warm enviroment to paint in

X2, that paint wont take long to go off with a heater on it. Shame tyres dont like being in the oven.

I think I like my garage and house the way it is :p: Australia must not get as cold... lol And shrimp? When I saw that I about fell on the floor laughing! Shrimp in a wheel painting thread. :D
No way my garage is getting up to 95+ degrees Farenheit...well with just 1 small portable heater and not with a 22yr old window and garage door...
