Need help 04 explorer wont start

I am not sure which section to post this on because the help 911 section wont let me post.

I have a little bit of a crisis I have a 2004 explorer xlt sport v8 I was unwirign my remote start but now when i try to start the car it will not start. it has battery power but it will not crank

Now I noticed something pretty much underneath the steering wheel there is a red cable this cable is cut and it was originally spliced for the alarm can this be why it will not start I am trying to look online and see if i can locate a wiring diagram for my car I need help asap I am really stuck sorry for rushing this out but i need my car to start thank you all
