There used to be a thread about making the disconnects I guess it was lost in the old modifications file that was lost.
Here is how I did mine on my Navajo which already had poly sway bar bushings.
I got two 1/2" hitch pins with clips, 2- 1/2" flat washers.
I removed the bolt from the lower front swaybar mount.
Put the hitch pin in place of the bolt, and added the washer outside the bracket.
Made a mark next to the washer and drilled a new hole for the clip. Tested the clip.
I cut the pin about 3/4" inch away from the new clip hole and then chamfered the pin on a grinder to make it easier to install.
Lightly greased the pin and installed it.
When I disconnect the pins I use a bungee on one side of the bar to keep it from moving while on the trail.
I spent about an hour from removal to test drive. Some of which was chasing down tools my three year old son borrowed!
