So here's the deal

Exhaust pipe broke off from cat conv and is now hanging. Clean break, the pipe is still usable, but I need to repair it quickly. Best way to repair for now? Thinking of torching off the cat and just using flex pipe for now....suggestions????? Need to fix asap so anything would be great!!!

It's your choice... but if you plan of cutting that cat. off I wouldn't talk about it on here... they're very strong on keeping things legal...

Just weld it back on or have it welded back on. We broke the factory weld right at the Cat on our 2006 mustang and I took it in to be welded and they didn't want to charge me. I gave the tech $20 and was on my way..

Is there enough pipe sticking out at teh Cat?? Can you buy an adapter Nipple and slide the two ends in and then clamp it?

Cheap Way

1)Buy that chrome looking exhaust tape depending how much weight would
be supported.
2)Use a hanger to hold it up by bending it around piece and through frame.
3)break it off and sound like a nascar

Right Way

1)Swing by an exhaust shop pay them $10-$20 to weld it back together.
