My 2000 Ford Explorer XLT 4WD is having problems with what feels like it bogging down. At idle, it will just drop RPMs suddenly and almost die. Also, while getting ready to take off, the throttle seems to hesitate then it sort of catches and jerks forward.

All fluids are good and at the appropriate level and air filter is clean.

Does anyone know what is going on with my truck?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks:exp:

You may need to clean your ISV. It's is bolted to the throttle of your engine. Yuo can remove it easily and clean it out with some PB Blaster, let dry and reinstall. Try that and if that doesn't work, you'll need a new one.
