Need help buys my X

Ok i heard if you buy a car in December before christmas will you get a good deal. I was told you could get a good deal for cars. That is for a dealer ship though i might buy from someone. Also when i buy my X from someone and i test drive it, can you tell me waht to look for.

you'll get a good deal at the end of the year if you are planning to buy a NEW car. they have to get rid of the remaining 2001s, so they can fill the lot with 2002s.

lees right; i gotta a great deal on my 98 by getting a leftover when they got all their 99's in. youre better off getting a 2001 anyway - the general consensus (so far) is that the 2002's are so great.

Like they said, that's only on newer model's. However, if you're looking to save some money, I would suggest looking towards owners instead of dealerships. That's at least what I think.

I don't know much about what to look for, but I would guess it would be much like on any car. I will say this, when I drove mine, I could feel a problem with the steering and was paying attention to the transmission, and if it felt rough at all. That's the notorious problem with Explorer's. Also, I'd check the brakes. I know we had problem's with our '96. That's just what happened to me though. Just check for anything that doesn't feel right to you. Best advice I can give : )
