Hey everyone, ive been trying to track down my issue with no luck so maybe you can help. 1994 4.0l that smells like its running rich and has lean codes. Pulled the codes today after seeing the cel come on and got 181 and 189. I thought that I had a gas leak before so I pulled the bed and put a new filler neck on and then had to put a new fuel pump in due to michigan rust:) Anyways, it didnt stop the smell and then I saw the cel come on then go off, thats when the codes were pulled. I just put a new fuel filter on today and its still running like ****. FPR is not leaking out of vacuum line and when I hooked up my fuel pressure gauge it read at around 32psi and held. Coil pack has been tested, new plugs ( 2 weeks old), wires are maybe 4 months old, canister purge solenoid changed due to a lot of pressure in gas tank. I pulled the maf plug while it was idling and it seemed a little better but when I put it back on it started running worse than before.... I will clean in a bit. The other thing that baffles me is that if I am driving for a while and then shut it off and let it sit for 10-15 min it barely runs and sometimes stalls out when I start it back up. Give it some gas and shes ready to roll again. It doesnt drive that bad but I cant take the gas smell through my back window and its killin my wallet! Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks....

Oh, by the way, when I changed the plugs the middle cylinder on passenger side had no electrode ( not the hook part).

I can't help, but here's a bump to the top.
