Friend just traded in jeep for f-150 the jeep is a 99 with 5 lug rims will the lug patern match up on my 04 ex

ok thanks fro the quike response we have to take the jeep in to morrow night so maybe i can swap out the rims during lunch if i can get the ford emblum off the center cap.

Just to make sure so there is no confusion and everything is clear:

The Jeep's wheels will fit on the Explorer.
But the F150's wheels will not fit on the Explorer or the Jeep.

i know that the f150 is 6 lug i just wanted to verify befor i tred to do the swap but they are realy nice after markets raped in some bfg k/O whitch i have always had no trouble with and he has all 5 instead of only 4

Unless the jeep wheels are 15" , dont these 3rd gens require 16"????

yeah went and took a look this mornin they are 15 in rims so guess thats a no go

Yea I've heard that u need 16's to clear brakes, I've never tried it myself though
