need help figuring this out

My 92 explorer run good when cold after heats up it acks like its not gettin gas but it does I think its floodin out and when it messes up it smells like really old gas I knocked a hole in the cats I don't know if that fixed it any ideals what is wrong with it

Could be a 1/2 plugged fuel filter or fuel pump not making enough pressure. Fuel Preassure regulator? I'd put a pressure guage on the schrader valve and see what you have there.

Try the engine temp sensor, It still thinks its cold after it warms up. If can come unplugged or go bad and the computer will think its -40* and pour the fuel right to it.
