Need help finding right 7 to 4 pin light adapter!

they make an adapter plug to go from the 7 pin to a 4 pin. any hitch shop will have them for under 20 bucks.
 






I just brought up your Amazon link. that's the kind I'm talking about..
 






I asked a question on that item on Amazon and someone said it did not work because I need female end, and I think the person on Amazon was saying that Reese one was a male end, so male to male would not work...
 






I can't make any sense of your last post.
But the adapter in your original post is the one you want. It will fit into the 7-pin round socket you have pictured, and a trailer's 4-flat wiring will plug into the other end. I keep the same one in the back of the Mounty.
Easy-peasy.
 












This is the adapter I use, it even lights up letting you know you have power to the plug.
