Hey guys,
The T connector that connects to the top of the PCV valve on my engine (4.0 SOHC) has a split in it. Is where anywhere online that I can buy a replacement?

My friend welcome to the wonderful world of ford engineering, im sure once you figured out where it was and then how to get to it, spent a better part of your adult life tryng to get it out, once you popped on the replacement the lil T-connector split! Well when it happened to me I searched high and low to no avail. PCV valve=$5-$7 any autoparts store in creation. I gave in and went to Ford a dealership. Only way you can get that lil 10cent pieces is ordering the WHOLE assembly PCV Valve, T connector with hoses from Ford= $50+tax

well I just said EFF IT, took the T connector out, gorilla glued it, electrical tape, and zip ties to make sure it stayed connect and waa laa....FIXED :-p

LOL Gorilla glue and duct tape, 2 of mans most important inventions of the 21 century! Seriously I dont know how well the gorilla glue will hold up with the hot gases passing thru it you might eventually develop a vacum leak there. B4 I broke down and bought the whole pcv assembly from ford I rigged up a generic t-connector and wrapped it with automotive tape(whatever that is?) and eventually a vacum leak developed. Good luck in the meantime

If you threw some bailing twine, a bottle of acetone and a pull tab from a beer can then you would be the living personification of McGuyver.

Walmart carries epoxy by the good companies, for the best prices, about $3.75 use that next time for plastic. I have a small leak I have yet to find, I think that it is in those rear lines around the firewall/PCV valve. Regards,

OR, you could remove the PCV valve, Take the "T" connector off, Buy a regular vacuum "T" connector and some rubber vacuum line, place one end of the rubber line on the PCV shaft, cut the rubber hose just long enough to shove the bottom "T" fitting in, then connect your two lines back that go to your intake.....done, and without paper-clips!!

But the paperclips add another three and a half horsepower!

It's according to which paper clip is used, the small looped ones gain about 2hp. if you get the big springy ones that clamp stuff then you get like 10hp.
