need help installing elec brake controller.

Hey guys,

I new to the whole towing with breaks thing and im going to be installing an electonic break controller on my 04 mountaineer. I was on amazon ans daw some reasonable prices for various units. However, when it comes to hooking them up i am clueless.

also will any of them work? im assuming its the harness that has to be specialized for the vehicle?
