As some of you know, I wrecked my sport trac. I now have a 1999 Explorer with the 5.0. I went to get it emission tested this morning so I could register and It failed! Fuel cap portion of the test passed so I don't think that is it. No check engine light on, and I went ahead and had codes checked anyways, nothing.
The evap systems test info portion has the pressure set at a limit of 6.00 inches/h2o. but their is no reading number to go by what the pressure was tested as?(maybe they forgot to add that in the report?) And the results for this test read as fail so as it goes, I failed the emission test. I need to get this fixed as I have 10 days to get it reinspected for free and I don't want to spend my money again to get it tested.
So, Any ideas? I've read that it could be the fuel filler line but mine is metal, not rubber? And if anyone has a diagram of the evap system I could look at, even better. TIA.
