Hi Guys
I was driving to the gas station this evening in my 06 explorer 4.0 V6 4x4. I stop at a stop sign and it died. It started up and I took off again. I went alittle ways and pressed on the gas pedal and nothing and died again. I got it home and checked the codes because the check engine light come on. This are the codes P2104 throttle actuator control system, P2111 throttle actuator control system and P2135 throttle/pedal position sensor/switch a/b. Can someone help me with my problem. I need fixed very soon.

Thank you

Common problem, throttle position sensor.

Hi
Then replace the throttle position sensor?

Thank you

That's where I would start, should fix it. Google it and you can see some video's.

Hi Guys
I replaced the throttle position sensor and it fixed. Will my gas mileage go back up? I checked the read out and read for mileage 12.6 mpg.

Thanks for your help
