2000 Explorer V8 AWD. The CEL is on and I'm 99% sure what the codes are because I've read and reset the light previously (dpfe needs to be replaced). However now I'm getting the "no power at DLC" error from the code reader. I know the code reader is fine because I've used it on 2 other vehicles in the last 3 days.
I've confirmed the fuse for the DLC is good.
Does anyone know how to troubleshoot the DLC? Where to probe and what voltages to expect?

Thanks
Doug

Check the Maxi fuse #13 and the mini fuse #5 on your drivers door pillar. The OBDII data port is controlled by both of those fusable links.

search is your friend... a quick one of obd ii connector pinout will give you the appropriate info.

Thanks for the info Blee1099

Budwich,
I did that search (just now, and back when I started this post originally) and all I get is my post and a review of a scanner post that has no usefull information to my problem in it.
But thank you for your suggestion anyway. :)

No... i didn't mean in this forum.... the internet is big... use it. I think you will easily find the pinout "map" for all connector types.
