got the front on fine after I figured out that the instructions included by Ground Force was missing a step (unlink the sway bar from the lca). anyway, now I'm having problems w/ the rear. I unlinked the sway bar, unbolted the top and bottom of the strut, but I still can't get enough clearance to remove the strut/spring assembly!!!!
anybody else have this problem. please help me! my wife's a little pissed that she has a muscle car looking explorer now. I got a quote from pepboys adn they want several hundred dollards to do just the rear.
FYI: for anyone doing springs in the future, pep boys charges $20 to swap each spring on the strut assembly if you carry it in.
