i currently have a amp running for my subs with a ported box. i like how it sounds but i was told adding a amp to the door speakers would fill up the sound in my car and give it more power. how do i go about doing this does anyone have detailed directions and or pics would be even better.

Did you wire the subs yourself? Or have someone else do it? If you did it your self than a door speaker amp wont be any more difficult, just a few more wires to run...

I litteraly have the same exact problem as you. I can get the rca's to the trunk where the amp is but how do i get the actual wire back there? Everytime I go to touch the wires, they only spark

 this confuses me.... lol

Always disconnect the battery when you are running power wires. If you are getting sparks when you touch the wires!?!?! you have something hooked up wrong. You need to be a little more clear so we can understand, what wires are sparking, the power? the ground? both?
Speaker wiring sparking? (definitely a BAD sign)
By the way, Explorers don't have a "trunk" LOL

what gauge power wire are you running now? If you have 8awg, then I'd def. step up to either 1/0 awg to a distro block, then run 4awg from there.

Run a new set of RCA's (provided you're running an aftermarket HU that has Front, Rear, and Sub) for front and rear. Fronts to ch. 1& 2, rears to 3 & 4.

Id use your current remote going to your other amp and splice off of that one. You run new speaker wire from the speakers to the amp and you're good. Should be at least.

wow,, total hijack, hey

back to the question,
95 would have an amp in the back making it easier, maybe,, but if it doesn't than all new wires will have to be run to each door,,
using a 4 chanel amp is not difficult, but we need more info , how are you gonna feed it, and what way, RCA's, ??? or speaker wire inputs,??
lots of variables,,

You can either run all 8 speaker wires to the amp, or use the RCA front and rear outs on your headunit, which would be easier, then run to the amp and then from the amp speaker-outs run them to each door.....

This is assuming you have the power and remote wires ran already LOL

i would just run speaker wire from the am in the rear to the factory speaker wires behind the radio if youre not pushing alot of power the factory wiring will be sufficient for adding a small four channel amp to compensate for the added bass
