need help with 1997 mountaineer antenna and wires

ok i just traded for this mountaineer and i went to replace the crapy cd player that did not work in it. so i pull the trim off and come to findout there are no wires hooked up to the cdplayer . there is also no plugs from the factory someone cut them out well i got the wires spliced and got the cd player to work and to hold memory . and the front two speakers work because someone ran wires from the doors to the back of the cd player . but my problem is this were is the antenna that i plug into the cd player i found one wire comming in from the right floorboard but it runs to the back to the back somewhere. is there not one that goes from the anntenna to the aftermarket cd player or am i just missing it . i looked all behind the dash and cant find one at all . also am i going to have to run new wires from the cdplayeer to the back doors like the other person did for the front. if it helps the truck did at one time have the cd changer in the console because the plug is still there and in the back i have the place for the sub in the side pannle but its been taken out . i did do a search but found nothing like this . thanks for any help.

you'll have to get a ford antenna adapter and an antenna extension then run the antenna up from the passenger's kick panel. i'm assuming that you're truck had/has the JBL factory system in it. those require a rewire of the speakers or bypassing the factory amp/tuner above the passenger's rear wheel well. that's also where you can catch both rear speakers and where the antenna plugs into the factory tuner.

just worked on one of these tonight, put in a new radio and an amp/sub.
