Need help with 2001 X

I am going to replace my Factory sub with a 10" that I have. My question is where should I mount the amp for the sub. I want it to be completly hidden. Suggestions any one?

Where are you going to mount the subwoofer box? Or are you going to buy a stealth box for the ten to go in? If you are going to have a box, just put the amp on the back of the box and slide the box all the way up to the rear seat...Out of sight amp.

I am going to mount bthe sub in the place of the factory one in the rear passenger side panel. I want to keep the entire boot space open.

Gotcha, I guess I missed the "replacing factory sub" line. I read too fast sometimes.
Since your sub box it going to be in the side panel, Why don't you hide your amplifier back behind the side panel? There is plenty of room. Or you could put it under any seat, considering that it won't be moving back and forth (the seat).

If it's a smallish amp you could put it in the opposite side of the cargo area depending on the room. Or under the seats like Dozier said, it's really kind of self explanitory...

Thanks yall. I hwas wondering do yall know if there is a factory amp in the 2001s or is the anp in the head unit? I think its all the head unit.
