Hi

This is a 2001 Explorer Sport Trac with 4.0 OHC.

Engine cranks fine I have spark and fuel pressure but no start.

Recent work performed by the owner and a friend.

Replace fuel pump and all filters.

Here is a picture of the DTC I got running FORScan V2.3.48.

Do you see anything that would indicate a problem?

Thanks in advance

timing? off the top of my head those codes dont seem like they would stop it from running.

Hi

Thanks

I agree I just thought if there was something there that was a common problem I would get some advice we are in the hurricane right now so the timing check will be delayed.

yeah, of course. based on the info im given i dont see anything abnormal. also make sure voltage is strong at the battery, that too. stay safe during the hurricane!

Follow these steps. It will help identify the problem.

Don't assume fuel pressure is good without testing with a gauge.

Here's another quick and easy thing to check. Your negative battery terminal has the large cable and a small one. Make sure the small cable is attached well. We had a car once, a Ford, but I don't remember which model, that occasionally wouldn't start because that small neg cable would work loose. I don't remember now if it would crank but not start, but that seems like the case.
