My sister had been complaining about a noise coming from the front drivers side wheel saying it had been getting worse. I pull the wheel off to find out that a caliper mount bolt had worked its way out. I replaced the missing bolt and drove down the road with no noise until i let off the gas and noticed a slight grabbing or rub coming from the front drivers side wheel. This feeling/noise doesnt occur all the time, i did notice however that lightly tapping the brake usually brought it on and it continued until i sped up or applied more brake. Drive home, pull the wheel back off, pull off the caliper, inspect the pads, I cant find a thing. The inside pad was abnormally stubborn when it came to taking it out. Any thoughts or ideas? My sister drives this daily to work and she is worried something is going to happen while shes driving. The only thing out of place that I noticed was some wetness around the front diff cover and drivers side of the rack but found an overflow hose stuffed in the front support and assumed thats whats causing the wetness. Vehicle drives fine, shifts fine, little play in steering but no jerking or pulling when turning the wheel. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
