2004 sport trac xlt
Hey, I just bought a sweeet 04 sport trac 4x4.. and its begun. I found some wheels on craigslist that came off of an escape. They are 20" zyoxx wheels and have nitto dune grapplers on them, with a 50 series profile. Anybody see any issues with them fitting or rubbing.. I dont know the backspacing, and Im sure the guy selling them doesnt either, how can I check?.. other than that if you can think of anything else to pay attention to please lemme know. I love this forum and all the sport tracs you guys got! keep it up and thanks in advance for the help.

better make sure they fit, as in bolt pattern and hub centric center bore,

Hey thanks for the reply. I looked up bolt pattern for both vehicles on tirerack.com and it says 5x114. But as far as hub centric center bore.. Im not even sure what that means. Do i need to physically put the wheels on to find out? or is there another way? thanks

The hub centric center bore would be the small hole right in the center of the rim. It should be the same size as the circle protruding from the hub, that it sits on. If it's too small, it won't mount properly. If it's too big, you'd need an adapter (basically a circular insert that fills in the area between the center bore and the circle on the hub.
Another thing to consider is the offset. Some wheels have the center (mounting area) of the wheel flush with the outside of the rim, whereas other ones might be a quarter way into the rim.
