2003 ford explorer sport
I have a 2003 Ford explorer sport xlt 2 wheel drive. I just changed the brake pads, calipers, rotors, and lines and am still having problems with the brakes. It feels like I still have air in my system after I bled them and when I push the brake when in park and idleing, it wants to die, and when in reverse and going to turn it feels like a caliper is sticking. What is wrong with my truck?? I've done put $600 into this truck for the brakes. HELP PLEASE

The problem with the engine wanting to die sounds like you have a vacuum leak in your power brake booster.

Here is a link to info about properly installing the caliper slide pins:

Not having the caliper slide freely could be the issue.

Thanks for joining. If you end up replacing the booster and you have a hard brake pedal you might also want to check the proportioning valve. A bad valve wouldn't cause the engine to die, but would or might result in a hard break pedal. I've had this happen before in older vehicles. Hope this helps out
