Just bought an exp and found that the hub isnt working on the pass side. Pulled it and was full of shiny bits, not good. Went to the junk yard and pulled all the hubs i could find and all are in about the same shape as mine. Is there any other vehicles that would be good to check. I looked at a ranger and the hub was about half an inch taller. Any ideas would be great!

a lot of people here have switched over to warn manual hubs

you have to get out of the car and lock them by hand, but they are alot more durable, and they are a lot cheaper then new automatic hubs

just search for warn hubs and you should be able to find a bunch of threads about them.

I'll second the Warn hubs. Use Dana 44 hub nuts for the conversion. Saves a few bucks over getting the pricey (but identical) Warn parts. Lifetime warranty against breakage also. You can't loose.

Go with the Warn's because they have a better locking nut. The stock hubs loosen and accelerate wear.
