How do you replace the front speakers. do i have to take off the door panels. please explain. thanks a bunch

yes you do, well at least through '94' anyways

Yes, you take off the door panels. There is a writeup around here somewhere. But simply: undo the 2 screws by the door handle, gently pry loose all the plastic rivets and pull the panel up out of the window channel. Be careful as the wiring to the switches isn't that long.
