I do understand, Don. You sound like someone that I am very familiar with. I too am "Losing the battle to get things done for family, house, neighbor's yard etc." The years pass quickly and I'm finding it harder to motivated myself to do all the projects that I once easily envisioned tackling for fun and family. But never the less, I find that once I get started the rest comes easy but I must first chose more wisely which to tackle in small increments. No more really big projects for me unless I can't afford to pay someone younger to do it for me.

Ditto, I can do things still, it's just slower and available time is tougher to find or make.

Doh!

Issue I see with those is the shifter is on the tunnel. No easy access to the back of the vehicle. Easy to install a column shifter?

I like those, but I'm hoping I can begin with one of those for parts only, someone parting one out.

The USPS FFV's have a column shift, so that might be identical to the normal RHD columns. The cable for the shifter could be longer I'd wonder and check into. I like that those models from Japan have the EATC, I prefer those to the manual type. I use the steering wheel controls on my route constantly, volume, station etc. It's nice to be able to push big buttons on the EATC and let that do most of the work adjusting fan and temp.

I would still highly prefer to keep the area in front of me open for a small tray of mail. Having the spinner on my LHD wheel gives me full control of it at all times.
