Need New Tires

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good all terrain tire for my '03 XLT? I have uniroyal laredo's on it now, and winter is coming quicker than I would like. The laredo's weren't too bad last winter, but it was relatively mild for Pittsburgh. Looking for good snow/ice traction without having to rob a bank to pay for them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I got some Pirelli Scorpian A/T last fall. I like them, they have a good tread pattern without being too noisy. I paid $700 for 4 tires (255/70R16)

i second the pirelli scorpions...they are awesome in the snow and still bite hard in the dirt...
