Need shocks, what to get?

My shocks are on their last leg right now, so i figured now that im throwing a lift on the X its time to replace them. I have been hearing great things about Rancho shocks, so im assuming i will go with them. They have multiple series to choose from. I am looking for a decent shock that will keep the street ride as smooth as possible, what would you experienced people out there reccomend?

not to be an idiot, but you need to use thesearch function, there are a bunch of forums on this, especially the rancho shock, rs500 is a good one for the inexpensive route

Yeah, you'll get people yelling at you if you don't search first. Everyone has their opinion on shocks. 4 for $100 Bilsteins are what some people go for, but many (including me) opt for the Rancho 9000s.
