need to replace front timing chain/kit/help!

i was wondering if anyone had some detailed instructions as to replacing the timing chain kit on a 97 explorer 4.0. I don't have any issues getting to that area but i've never attempted removing those sprockets/chain. Do I need special tools to lock everything in place or can you just remove them?

Are you talking about the primary timing chain or the camshaft timing chain? I have PDF copy of the instructions for the primary timing chain kit instalation that I can email to you if you PM me
