If your Explorer sounds like the bearings are shot, you replace the hubs and it still makes the noise, what else could it be? It doesnt make the sound up on the rack (in fact, it is quite noiseless up there), but when you lower it to the ground and drive it, it sounds horrible.
The mechanic checked the differential, all fluids, transfer case and other things but could find nothing mechanically wrong with it. After several hours with no extra pay, he finally said take it to the dealership....ugh...not the dealership!
Any ideas on what it could be?
