i bought my 05 Sport Trac recently and the previous owner gave me a set of nerf bars. I assumed these are factory. i went to go install them and i ran into a couple of problems.
on each bar there are 3 brackets that attach to the bottom of the pinch welds. on each bracket, there are 2 bolt holes on the bottom and 3 on the top. i can attach the 2 on the bottom to the clips that are already there, but theres nothing for the top 3. after bolting the outside brackets leaving out the middle, i noticed there were pretty loose when i tried to step on them.
i will try to get up some pics tommorow
