Clearance from nerf bar to splash guard.

How much clearance did you have between the splash guard and the front of the nerf bar?

1 3/4" on mine. Had Ford install them today and look awesome. Will post pictures if if ever stops raining. Ford mechanice told me he had to drill two holes to complete the job.

The Westins look great! Would you mind posting a closer up pic when you get a chance? I'm awaiting delivery of our 2012 Explorer Limited (Cinnamon Metallic) and am interested in installing chrome running boards as well (assuming I can get the wife to buy off on it)...

Well I got mine and installed on Christmas Eve. They rub on the mud flaps big time. I actually had to push pretty hard to get them mounted, but the pressure on the flaps relaxed once I got everything snugged up. Still I am pretty happy with how they look and the fact that my 4 yr old doesn't need help getting in now, and my 2 yr old can almost get herself in as well.
