New 31s

I know this thread is old but pretty soon I'm going to try out the Maxxis Bighorn I think. Maxxis is huge in the cycling world esp. in downhill and general mountain bike - so i'll try em out to see what they can do. but before then, anyone any have experience with Bighorns?

I def. would have gotten the big horns if the wholesale place where I got mine had them in a 31 at the time. Their main headquarters is EXTREMELY close to my house, so my friends and I go over there and to them about BMX and MTB . When I move up to 35s later this summer, I think I'm going to try the Big Horns out.

They've been doing really good so far. After changing from my 235s to the 31s, the difference was amazing at how much better it handled. Since they are bigger with stiffer sidewalls, it handled better and it also was more comfortable. They are great offroad and on. They are pretty loud, but not nearly as loud as my old tires , plus a lot of the people that ride with me think that's it's cool . Overall, they are so far.

my brother has the mud rovers in his cherokee and are very quiet and very easy to clean after mud.
