My 2002 is just about set to need a new set of pads all arround (30,000 miles). My question is should I install ceramic instead of reg. Bendix pads? Question 2. Rotors are clean and am not getting any pulsing on breaking. Think i can get away without cutting rotors? Thanks all. Ken

I have used both. Ceramic do not dust up like other pads, they do feel vague or Soft but not the same feel as metal. Metal I think stop better but then there is the dust problem. I use only Ceramic, cleaner wheels. Rotors - my guess is you should replace them, most rotor can be measured for a Min thickness. Rotors are really 'soft' now a days, and almost always replaced. For high performace, I heard Cross Drilled Rotors with Metal Matrix pads, will stop anything, cost a lot.

Thanks jrford. Will prob. go with ceramic and rotors if they cant be cut.
