New brakes

I got drilled rotors and ceramic pads off ebay... I was actually very impressed with the quality. After over a year I can for sure say they were a great purchase. I get compliments on the look all the time and have zero warping to date.

how do i know whether the rear brakes on my Explorer is with Phenolic Pistons or Steel Pistons for the correct application.

How hard is it to paint the calipers?

Go with Hawk, EBC or any of the well known high performance braking products manufacturers.. Don't go with ebay junk.

Lots of prep-work... but definitely worth it with the final product.

I installed EBC Green 6000, over 3k on them, very little dust, no Fade, great stopping power.
