I'd be interested in seeing the pics. The front seats in my '94 have seen better days. The previous owner was significantly larger than I, and has crushed the side of the driver's seat. It slopes toward the door and the padding is totally shot. The lumbar and back support is crushed too.

What did you do exactly? Bought a used seat, washed the cover and added new padding? How did you go about adding the padding back to make up for the old stuff that wasn't any good?

What year's seats did you buy as a replacement? I've searched before and think that up to '01 will bolt in to ours.

I would just look for a good set on Ebay. They're going pretty cheap and you might be able to get newer ones.

i got it from a junk yard yes and it wasnt ripped but the padding wasnt great so i took off the covers washed them in the washer and dryer, then i used an old wool blanket and cut it into like 12x6 inch sections and where the padding was crushed i put the blanket pieces and put the covers back on and bolted it in pretty simple accept for the torx bolt that snapped and i had to drill out lol ill post pics up here tonight sometime ill take pics of the old seat and the new (used) seat since its in the car now

Looks 100x times better than mine.

I rather search/shop junk yards myself and pull it if it is in good order. None of the yards in my area let you walk around and browse with a handfull of tools. I'll take a look at Ebay.

looks 100x better then my old one too lol very easy work too
