New exhaust

Ok guys. In the last 2 days i put a new ehaust on the explorer. I replaced the cat with a test pipe and just changed my muffler to a flowmaster. It sounds ok but it sounds deep at lower rpms but at higher it doesnt sound deep at all. i used the stock pipe when i did this. Would changing the stock piping to bigger piped do anything. o yea i also just dumped the stock pip off

yes, going to a bigger exhaust pipe will deepen the tone, I wouldn't recommend goin bigger than 2.75" though. And do I inderstand you right by saying you also dumper the exhaust?? how does that sound?

sounds ok i guess. kinda sucks when ur just sittin there the fumes com in the car if the windows are down.

yeah, I bet. The reason I ask is b/c I've been thinkin about doin that.... but its one of those things you usually just do to a V8, so I've been hesitating b/c of my V6.

i dont know what it sounded like when it was full cuz i dumped when i was putting it on. so i cant really help u out. im about to custum make my own and make it come out teh side like a lighting.

you have to host them from another sight like imagestation.com, or like a geocities website, or something like that.

make sure you are legal if you are going to drive it on the street.

probably have to exit behind the rear wheels not in front

has to be behind the passenger compartment if i am not mistaken

I was told that it is illegal to run the pipes out the side before the rear wheels. I also was told that the Lightning is able to because the exhaust exits behind the cabin.

laws in texas are different i guess. ive seen other cars with it and i like in a little town. cops wont say anything. and i took my cat off already. that is illegal so what is one more illegal thing. haha
