as for a write up, im sure it is pretty much plug and play if you buy decent lights, i got these from autozone, for cheap and thats what i got, the lights are ok, but wires overheat, switch sucks, none of the connectors matched, and the diagram was completely different than the wires that were included.

im going to buy all new wire and do it all over again, i would advise new wire.

first i removed the plastic piece from the bottom of my bumper, i wanted more clearance, but the lights eliminated that, and mounted the lights in existing holes, so i would not have to drill any holes.

next i ran my wires the shortest possible route i could. i ran them through the firewall by means of a factory drilled hole, i believe it was right under the master cylinder.

and last, i tidied everything up. i still need to mount the swithc somewhere around where the factory switch would be.
