New From San Diego

Hi all, I'm new here. I have an 03 explorer sport 4x4 (xls 5spd), I've been wheeling for about 2 years now. I recently moved to SD, AND recently purchased my explorer. Just saying hi. Oh and it would be good to know some spots around here, since i'm from Sacramento I literally don't know of a single spot here haha. anyways seems liks a good site, thanks.

ha ya i moved about 6 months ago from sacramento. Its seriously like a different world out here. the desert is huge here, in sacramento its all about rock crawling, mudding, and dirt.

Is there an off road meet that happens in Auburn around January? How's San Diego life treating you? How'd you end up out here?

awesome man. your from roseville? I'm from Rocklin. Ya there's a meet in january. if you go up u gotta tell me how it goes , i miss wheelin in northern california. The not so well known spots are the best. Sd's awesome, hav'nt been able to wheel yet. I'm here cuz my girlfriend and daughter live up here so I had to haha. I'm lovin it though.

Same reason, the mrs wanted to be here, and guess who caved? Anyways, not a bad place to be... and those are two good reasons for you to be there

I never had the chance to do the January meet, it's all family oriented, so that's great... but the show is with the o/r crowd I've only seen pics... I understand it's like a massive tailgate party. I'll be there next Jan - w/the lightweight crowd

Just wheeled the rig for the first time since i bought it. Pretty cool, handles way differently than any other rig i've driven. It Did pretty good actually for still having those ****ty stock michelins.
