I purchased replacement GB brand fuel injectors. On the bottom of the injector is a small green cap. I am unsure whether this cap should be removed or not and if it is just a protector when the injector is in the box. I don't have the old injectors for comparison. There IS a hole in the bottom of this cap where the sprayer is so I am almost sure that this is an integral part of the injector. Thank You for your help.
