My reommendation: Buy through the shop you have it done at. Usually they will have a specific brand that they use, and it will usually be a good, reputable brand. Also, when you buy through the shop, they are responsible for the quality gears, so if they break, you have someone to blame and redo it.

ya sounds good thanx for the advice. i live in san diego ca anyone have a shop they can recomend to me and also $$$? how much do u think everything will be anyone?

It does cost a lot. Probably 500-800 per axle (including the price of gears and installation kits). Hope that helps.

shop around and check out the place where you take the axles (as in actually visit it before you bring ur axles).. i got mine done at a speed/custom shop that dealt mostly with street and classic cars .. itll save u a little bit if you can bring them just the axles.. and itll save u a bit more if you can remove the outter stuff like brake rotors and such since this will save the shop some time.

Mine was about $540 for one axle. The shop was sh!tty and a mess, but the guy knew his stuff and did a great job.
