New Gears??

Ok, I've finally got the cash flow to put my new tires on. I havent decided on 31" or 32" M/T's, but this will be part of my decision. I dont know if I will need to regear or not. I will probably go with 31" tires, so do yall think that I will need to regear? Anything will help. Thanks

not for 31s. even if you had the crappiest stock gearing (3.27) you would be fine. 31" isnt that much diff from stock. just out of curiosity though, what is your stock gearing?

depending on what it is, and if you have an auto, you may not want to do 32" for now. its one of those wher you dont want to be geared too high but you dont want to be too low either.

Im not so sure what the stock gearing is in my X. But for my info, what would be the best way to find this out.

on the drivers door, there is a sticker and one of the listings is teh axle code. should be 2 digit or letter and digit. get that code and cross reference it on the site. or, you can grab the flashlight and check the tag on the rear diff.
