New Guy - 2012 Limited

Hello All,

Figured I'd post up and introduce myself. I ordered and had my 2012 Limited 4x4 302A w/ tow built while I was on deployment. I picked it up just after Thanksgiving weekend with 0 miles!. I couldn't be happier with it! I had been reading "horror stories" on this forum while I was gone and was pleasently suprised when I picked it up. I have just about 600 miles on her now and have experianced none of the problems so far. MFT has yet to crash on me and my Navigation works great, even the voice. It's found everywhere I wanted it to go, even while driving with the voice. Very neat, as I usually don't like voice software.

It's technically the wifes car, I bought it for her as a suprise Christmas present. She had no idea until I showed up with it for her lol. I drive an Audi and this Explorer is so nice I find myself wanting to take it everywhere, haha. I've yet to find a fault with it and it's absolutely beautiful in the Tri coat white with Medium Stone interior.



I'll clean her up tomorrow and take some pics for you all. Stuck on duty at work today unfortunately.

My hopes are that someone comes out with a lift kit for the new gens soon. I wouldn't mind adding ~4" to it.

Seems to me that a lot of wives have been getting Explorers recently. I do hope you get to drive it now and them. Happy motoring.

Wow, listening to the new Limited edition Exp owners makes me wonder if I shouldn't have put up a bigger downpayment and ponied up the extra over the XLT.. !

Congrats! Here's to at least two guys who've gotten lucky with no errors/faults/problems!

Small world. Red 2012 Limited here in VA Beach also. I'm the only one with the shark fin antenna.
