- 1995 EB....4.0
I just picked up a 1995 E.B...4.0 auto 4x4, from a friend of mine. I bought it as a second vehicle. A few weeks ago I did a complete break job for him (all 4)....
He calls me up the other day says it wont start, and he dont want it anymore lol...(hes not a guy who likes to turn a wrench, nor knows how)
So knowing that the truck was fairly kept up on (ive done most of his odds and ends the last couple years) I offered him $500...He said "come pick it up Saturday" LOL
Ive always been a ford guy at heart, (built a couple of nine second Notchbacks) and that was a blast
.....
Im thinking its either a fuel pump, relay, inertia switch, or crank sensor....It was running pretty sweet before hand.....
I bought the Wife a Ford Probe GT years ago, and it was the inertia switch that was always a problem LOL
Shes got a lil rot on the Passenger side rockers...I might just cut them out and weld in new ones.......
Im going to pick it up Saturday, and give it the run down. I want to just get her back up and running before I cut, weld, lift, etc.....Im sure you all know the routine
I figure I will see if theres a check engine light.
Plug in my reader. See what codes if any
Listen for the fuel pump
Check relays
Check inertia switch
What do ya guys think? Is that a good run down to start off with.....Sorry so long winded but Im excited with the new toy .........Catch ya guys later
