Ok, lets start. I just bought a 2005 Sport Trac today!. I LOVE it. Before this I had a 1999 Ford explorer, with 5.0 v8. The sport trac has a 4.0, which is pretty good on gas. The dealership I bought it from told me to drive it half a day and see how I like it. He mentioned the brake rotors need turning , but said they will handle it. So I test drove it today for a few hours, and decided I wanted it after looking some other Sport Tracs that were either to expensive or ragged out. My question is there is a roaring sound from about 15 miles per hour on up (does not get louder) maybe because of warped rotors?? I hope (pray) it is because of the warped rotors, and not a wheel bearing. Also the tires are all season, BF goodwrench. Maybe just tires roaring?? The rotors are warped pretty bad, the steering wheel shakes bad when applying brakes. Other that that it drives like a new one.
