2001 AWD 5.0 Mountaineer
Hi guys, I just purchased a 2001 Mountaineer 5.0 AWD. Looking to perform the following and would appreciate some input. Cold Air Intake, Exhaust, Suspension upgrade. Basically if anyone has done some of these things and have good or bad stories I would like to know. For the suspension I would like to know what brands and or parts I would need to lift the truck a couple inches, and tighten the suspension a little. Shackles? Helper springs? or just buy new springs? or both. Where I should take my measurements if I do a TT lift?

For the exhaust..buy a catback from gibson or mac or make my own exhaust? Maybe some advice from someone who made their own, I want nice deep throaty power sound but not super annoying.

Cold air...again who offers nice systems for the 5.0? Make my own?

What upgrades would really up my MPG's?

Maybe a site with everything I want for the 5.0? I am starting with the brakes just because they're pulsating but after that I want to go into the suspension an get the best ride with the best look. Please Help. I've been reading threads and searching for parts all week and I'm just road blocked with what to do.

I went with the MAC cold air intake and catback exhaust.
http://www.hensonperformance.com/ I like both of them couldn't be happier. The MAC catback hangers near however where perpendicular to the ones that were on the stock exhaust for some reason so they needed to be re configured. Mine is a 2000 though so yours maybe different.

Where can I get the EE suspension upgrade or something along those lines?
