I actually made my first post in the Stock 2002-2005 forum and had some quick awesome replies. Been lurking here since buying my 2003 XLT last December. At the time seemed like too good a deal to pass up. Only 54,000 miles local trade-in. Immediately had to replace the left front WB then, when that got quiet could hear the whine and growl at the rear. Initially thought it to be a left rear WB but that was not the case. Now in the process of replacing the rear diff with a reman from ericauto.

Anyway, I like the vehicle other than already spending more in parts than what I've made in payments so far. With the help of the folks posting on this board I have saved hundreds by doing the work myself though.

I just recently bought a 05 X, and I love it so far. No too many problems except for the turn signal is on its way out.
