New guy with a second gen

Hey everyone, I just bought my new daily driver on monday and thought I'd say hi. It's a 96 Explorer XLT with 170k. i bought it for $500 with a bad trans, bad hood lift supports, bad driver side lock actuator and both bank lean and o2 sensor codes. The truck came with another 70k mile transmission, which cost about as much as I bought the truck for so I think I got a good deal considering the few stupid problems it has. The reason for buying was so I could park my 01 Camaro SS and do all the modifications to it that I've had sitting in my room for months.

I plan to just crank up the torsion bars and make a set of 2" lift shackles in my machine shop I work at, and just drive the hell out of my truck.

thats how much i paid for mine to but mine had a blown engine but did a 3 inch body 2inch rears and crank the front bars and put 35 on a 17inch rimes

extream explorer, wanna post some pictures of your truck? I've been going back and forth on doing a body lift and bigger tires, just cant decide if just the torsion twist and shackles with 31's or 32's will be enough for me.
